Hello neighbors!
In the next few weeks, the Board has contracted two different vendors to complete overdue tree trimming work brought to our attention by…you!
You should have received an email from Carolyn Burdette (on behalf of the Board) with a detailed breakdown on the upcoming work including locations and marked trees [if you did not, please let us know!]
Over the past month you may have noticed many trees with homemade labels or pink ribbons that allowed us (and three different vendors) to identify individual trees. Not all of the trees marked made the threat and budget cut for the upcoming effort, but these trees will remain marked for future reference purposes. If you discover or have concerns about other trees - please reach out.
One tree will be fully removed, and the others mentioned will undergo extensive trimming for tree health and reduction of threat. All much generated during this process will be moved by the vendors to the dog stations on Putnam Drive and Stiles Bee Ave, as well as under the large tree coverage in the front common area. The vendors will try to spread the mulch, but there may be some community help required to really level out the newly mulched areas.
As always, please email us at board@stonefieldhomes.org if you have questions or concerns.
